Denny’s is an American diner open all hours of the day bringing it’s customers great value food with a wide selection for the whole family to enjoy.Founded in 1953, Denny’s now operates over 1,600 restaurants in the US, Canada, Costa Rica, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand and Qatar.

Why take part in the Denny’s Listens survey..

If you’ve recently visited a Denny’s restaurant the you will have noticed the complete menu consisting of skillet meals, fit fare, morning breakfast, lunch, dinner, appetizers, desserts, kids menus, 55+ menu and much more. To show your support for the restaurant whether you enjoyed your experience or not, it’s a good idea to give the company your feedback and allow them to improve their services even further by listening to the customers opinions and improving it’s product or service wherever possible (however with Denny’s we find most are overly happy with the level of service delivered).

One great incentive to take part in the Denny’s Listens survey is there are free prizes to win, dependant on the offer on your receipt.

  1. I just had an unexpected thing happen at Dennys in Hurst Texas. Im.a diabetic i forgot my insulin pen , grabbed my stuff , sugar meter, wrong insulin pen and apparently left my bluetooth there, came back.15 minutes later to eat, which we did,, but no Bluetooth. Hmm! I wonder where it went? Its not the cost!! Its the principle! Thanks, Randy Gunder.

Just went to Denny’s for lunch after church. Gone every Sunday for a month. Somehow my name didn’t get written down to wait for a table and many people that came in after me were seated. Even two large groups. That’s okay. It happens.
However please inform the servers that not everyone likes to be called, honey, sweetie or darling.
I find it condescending and a bit annoying. I am old enough to be mother to one server and grandmother to another. I have mentioned it to servers before but they don’t seem to remember. I don’t expect them to call me Ma’am, just a little respect. That’s all.
The restaurant I go to is on highway 50 in Titusville, Florida. Thanks.

  3. i just tried to enter my receipt code to do the Dennys survey. DON’T BOTHER! The process is cumbersome and quite frankly, not worth the time. I would rather starve then try to go through that again! Denny’s say they listen, so here this! For a few dollars in free food for my opinion don’t make it so difficult!! This is not Fort Knox! If you want to see how it should be done, go eat at IHOP, get your receipt an go online and waa-laa! Easy and fast! About what a person expects for a stack of pancakes! Food is pretty awesome too!

  4. Today was my last trip to Denny’s, the employees were downright rude. I used to eat there often but the service has declined so poorly and Denny’s does not seem to care about it. The food has gone downhill while the prices climb. The service is horrible; they make you wait while there are tables available. I would not recommend eating at Denny’s until they return back to the superior food and service they once provided. There other restaurants that still believe in customer satisfaction and serve top quality food…sorry to see Denny’s has lost sight of this.

  5. I’ve been participating in Denny’s 50 State Challenge. There have sometime been problems with logging into the the store with the mobile app. Sometimes it would say couldn’t locate a Denny’s. the major problem, however, is having a Dennys nearby that use to accept the code for the coupons earned from the iPhone. At one time they did and now have a sign on the door that the coupons now have to be printed out! That’s a problem for those of us that don’t have printers. What’s the purpose of the mobile app then?

  7. I eat at dennys 3 to 4 times a week #7711. I think its cheap of you’ll to put a limit on when I can use my survey. Once every thirty days for a $4 meal. I rather go to Ihop and pay and not worry about a survey at all. I feel that I should be able to use them when I want to I earned all of them so now I’m giving them to my family members and we will meet there on that day to use them up and I’m done. Wont be back.

  8. I went to your location @ 8025 glenview drive in north Richland hills. I had left my wallet on the table where I was sitting and return 30 minutes later to get it. Well I had 2 $100 dollars bills in my wallet needless to say I asked who found my wallet and they said the waitress turned it in and the manage Roberto? Had put it in the safe. So if they were the only two that had possesion of it then how did myomeu go missing and they had no explaination. He said he will have to get a supervisor because he has no access to the video camera he walked to a so called customer spoke Spanish to him telling him what was going on and said that we need to talk to his supervisor and comes back and says my supervisor is off today I will have to call him first of all why did you go and get advise from a customer?? I believe he is the supervisor. I know that it was my fault that I left my wallet but knowing that your employees and staff are not honest. This would be the last time we will ever visit a Denny’a location again.

  9. We went to Denny’s #1800 at 8:30 p.m. and waited 45 minutes for our food. When the food arrived the server said pancakes would arrive shortly. The eggs were cold and the bacon and sausage were raw. My husband waited 10 minutes for hot sauce and the eggs just got colder while waiting for the pancakes. We got up and paid for 2 coffees for which we were charged $4.55. WE left the cold food on the table. I might add there were only 25 people in Denny’s at the time. We will not be back.

    Restaurant# 8761……..No survey code on receipt………….. …..
1 1/2 hour long breakfast in Menomonie, WI.. 20 minute wait to be seated when there were open tables all over the restaurant. The person that was suppsed to be cleaning the tales moved as slow as a turtle and seemed more interested in watching the televisions. I was not happy with being charged for the bottles of water that were offered to us because of the water advisory. This was the worse experience Ive had at a Denny’s. There was a young man by the name of Kevin that ran circles around his fellow employees trying to help everyone. He deserves recognition for his efforts.

After eating half our breakfast today, I went to the local county health department and asked to have a restaurant inspection at Denny’s. The front doors were dirty and the second door wouldn’t shut completely. The floors were filthy with grimy carpets and spilled food. The table was sticky with syrup or something and there were sticky little fingerprints on the windows and window sills. The bench seat in the booth was caved in and uncomfortable. There were burned out light bulbs, dirty stains by the ventilation vents and ceiling tiles missing. There were five uncleared tables in the front area by the door and the individual seating at a counter was impossible because the counter was cluttered with restaurant materials. There were dirty dish rags left on the counter and on the counter where food was prepared. I have never see such a mess in a Denny’s.

The above comment is from the Denny’s in Roseburg, OR. It is located next to I-5 and should be something that is safe for travelers.

  12. Visited your restaurant on International Blvd in Charleston, SC. As is near the airport we have visited it often in the past as family and friends come often to visit. I’ve always been happy with it til today. Today our visit was made unpleasant by a surly cook who was loudly complaining at waitresses and slamming things around the kitchen. When we spoke to the waitress (who was wonderful) regarding his attitude we were told he was the boss! Bad show Dennys I believe we’ll be visiting the Chilis next door for now on. Extremely unprofessional!

  13. Visited Denny’s in Belleville Il yesterday 9/24/13 #1130. I ordered a chicken fried steak, it was terrible!! The manager came up to me and said, You’ve never had chicken fried steak before? I replied yes, but this is gross!! I ended up getting chicken strips with broccoli and seasoned fries. The broccoli was cooked in the microwave and all pieces were burnt, so that was a bust and the fries were covered with grease so I couldn’t eat those either. I did get my food deducted, but I don’t feel like I should’ve paid for anything. When I paid for my food and got home I realized the manager didn’t give me a receipt to be able to fill out the customer survey so I had to resort to this. We are paying for a service and it should be pretty close to perfect for a company who has been selling food longer than I’ve been born!

  14. Hello,

I dined at a Dennys in Salt Lake City on 11/18/2013… I performed the survey, wrote down the code to give to the wait staff on the original receipt that contained the code to take the survey…

Can you send me another – I never redeemed the one you all gave me.

    Thank you!

  17. Worst meal brand new store in Gainesville, Ga. We went for my birthday meal food was terrible and was every person’s meal 6 total in party. Onion rings was so hard I told my grandaughter she might break her teeth on them. Her cheeseburger was cold, daughter in law said she would go back to IHOP for a breakfast. We were so excited to get a Denny’s in our area, had to wait on everything, no cooks, no one to take money, terrible food across the board. This store is destined to go out of business before the year is out unless someone steps in very quickly. People will not go back. Such a shame. We are so disappointed.

We are at Denny’s in Carbondale, IL. A few minutes ago, I watched as Kaitlin , a waitress, tossed a banana peel to the waste container and missed! She said “oops” and just let it lay. Manager David saw it and never said a word. He walked past it again, looked right at it, and kept on going. Waitress Kaitlin, went by it again, looked at it and kept walking. My waiter, Don, saw it, and thankfully, bent over and picked up the peel and threw it away. I applaud Don! Shame on manager David and waitress Kaitlin!

  19. We just ate at Denny’s in Anderson last night. I’ve always had exceptional service there and no problems with the food. Last night was a huge disappointment. I had the grad slam as I always do. The toast was overcooked. The bacon was undercooked. I got a teeny tiny bowl of grits. It was a joke. I ordered pancake puppies to go which took a good 15 minutes to get. It’s a good thing I checked them because they were overcooked. I refused to pay for them. The cook came out when we were paying and said he couldn’t do anything about them because it was the grease. So, I left without them. I expressed my dissatisafaction to the manager when I was checking out and she just said… “Oh, I’m sorry…”.

My husband and I went to denny’s on june 28th….It was the worst trip we ever experienced..The food was over cooked and they never even put butter on the toast. It took 20 minutes to get our food….I don’t think I plan to go back anytime soon…They need to get better cooks or get more people so there are no mistakes…
